1.1 GSM Alarm CJ176433 – Initial Setup

  1. Ensure power cable is plugged in.
  2. Ensure GSM aerial is plugged in
  3. Ensure SIM card is installed and fitted correctly
  4. Ensure SIM card has Air time and SMS time
  5. Ensure Their is no password on the SIM card
  6. Ensure that the GSM alarm has a cellphone signal. The GSM alarm light will flicker every 3 seconds, if it is a continuous flicker, it means it has not found a cellphone signal, try switch on and switch off the GSM Alarm. try relocation the GSM alarm, try another SIM card.
  7. Once the GSM Alarm has a signal, Phone the GSM Sim card number, and wait for the GSM alarm to answer, if it does answer, hangup and carry on with the SMS setup configurations.

To configure the first number to call. Example: GSM to call **********
Replace the * with cell phone number you want it to call

SMS the following message to the GSM Sim Card no.

Trigger the alarm to test that the GSM alarm will call the 1st phone number.

2.2 GSM Alarm CJ176433 -To configure the 2nd number to call

To configure the second number to call. Example: GSM to call **********
Replace the * with cell phone number you want it to call

SMS the following message to the GSM Sim Card no.

Trigger the alarm to test that the GSM alarm will call the 1st and 2nd phone number.
